Day 112 - Building a Library, one book at a time

Michael,

Someone in the village is going back to the US, so I asked him to bring letters for me to mail. Not sure if this letter will get to you first or the letter I wrote in the beginning of Oct. and sent out w/the mail run. Anyway, In that letter I asked you if you can mobilize effort among my friends (Send out a mass e-mail) if it help to gather French books for free for me to start a library. If you can get free French books and send w/ m-bag (media mail), it's not expensive. Instead of sending me food once in a while, books will be better as I have enough to eat here (lack of variety but I won't starve, can still snack). I'm not worry it takes time to get books here (2 months). I want it to be a continuing effort. I can also share the cost of postage when I'm done here. What do you think? Spread the word and I'm sure people have all sorts of ideas.

Hope all is well. My other letter is long and I don't have much time here, so I'll keep it short.

Talk to a few people, it is more cost effective to get free books in the US.

Thanks as Always!
